Why did you destroy this with banner ads? My 5 yr old and I used to use this at bed time to talk about astronomy. So disappointed. Ads at the beginning maybe. Now its ruined. :(

I can believe that this beautiful app has banner ads covering one side of the screen. Its awful! This was one of my favorite apps; now Im deleting it. Geez...

As noted ads destroyed the esthetic charm of an otherwise unnecessary but pleasing app - Im sorry to be deleting it

Horrible viewing experience due to addition of banner ad! They destroyed the beauty of this app! Would have been better off to charge 99 cents for Ad Free version! - JC

I still would have paid for the sun and moon display of this one. Instead, Im deleting it. Please, remove those banner ads. Charge money, offer a free trial period, an option to pay to remove, etc, but the banner ads ruin what would otherwise be a great app. I hope you fix it. If you dont , I hope someone does.

Ads ruined the whole app, UNINSTALLING !

Was a neat app until they put ads on the page. Looks completely rediculous now. -- put an ad on a start up.. But not in the main app. Deleting this app until they correct it.

Its blurry when u zoom in!! And the earth wont stop moving!!

This was one of the first apps I downloaded when I first got my 1st gen iPod touch and it looked beautiful, so I was really looking forward to the iPad version. But now, as noted by others, the app has been destroyed, the banner adds really ruin it. I would gladly pay 99 cents to get the ads removed. On a side note... Hows the average rating on this app 2 stars when every single rating is a 1 star?

Great App! Banner is barely noticeable at the very bottom! Our 4th grade science standards require explaining how the moon revolves around the earth and earth around sun...something (unfortunately) our little ones have a lot of misconceptions about.

The Earth3D update now has an in your face ad banner which totally spoils the beauty of this app. Id recommend Living Earth HD instead for a beautiful rotating earth with the actual real-time cloud layer. It also has a clock and weather display (triple tap for earth view only). Have removed Earth 3D from my iPad.

This is very nice and useful.

You should use more polygons in the sphere models. The facets at the edge of the earth look...well...ugly. Also, the clouds look unnaturally far from the surface of the earth. And I agree with beachcrow, the banner (though necessary to make some $) really detracts from what you are trying to present. Somehow BANNERS IN SPACE really doesnt do it for me.

The moon is shown ridiculously close to the earth. It is actually 30 times the earths diameter away.
